My lovely little office has been neglected this month while I've played hostess to my family. Piles of paper, unread magazines, and I'm certain there's a thick layer of dust over my desk and bookshelves. I'm excited to return to my office in June when we return from our Italian cycling holiday.
Today I found this 500-square foot apartment perfectly decorated with the oh so wonderful neutral grey. I'm inspired by this knock-out neutral space. So here are six vintage and handmade pieces to create a calm work area without taking up too much space.
1. Medium Lab Vase w/ Crater Glaze handmade by Etsy seller Sara Paloma Pottery
2. White Felt Flower Designer Style pillow / cushion handmade by Etsy seller Sew English
3. Awesome Vintage Gabled Tool Box, Huge from Etsy seller birdie1 {Bird-in-Hand}
4. Pair Vintage Industrial Lamps OOAK from Etsy seller ethanollie {Trampoline}
5. Great Mid Century Desk Side Chair from Atomic Era from Ugly Santa
6. Laptop desk or writing desk crafted by Uncommon

The vintage industrial lamps are very cool. Love how you find "used" items and re-purpose them. Great blog!

Thanks Deb! I love those salvaged and re-purposed lamps, too. Ethanollie {Kim} has an amazing eye for vintage, and now she's created purposeful and unique lighting. So impressive!
I am love, love, loving that desk! And wishing I could afford it. I'm looking for a similar vintage desk on Craigslist or in a nearby thrift store to refinish. It's the perfect compact size for my space :)
